Delete your account

App: Citadel Fitness Package: com.citadelfitness.app Last updated: 3 September 2026

You can delete your Citadel Fitness account and everything stored with it. There is no form to fill in and nobody to persuade. You can do it yourself from inside the app, and if you have already uninstalled it, you can ask us by email.

Option 1: in the app, immediately

This is the fastest route and it does not involve us at all. It runs the moment you confirm.

  1. Open Citadel Fitness and sign in.
  2. Go to Account → Account management → Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and all the data listed below are deleted straight away.
This cannot be undone

Deletion is immediate and permanent. We keep no backup copy, there is no grace period, and no recovery is possible afterwards, not by us and not by asking. If you want to keep your training history, get a copy before you delete. See below.

Option 2: by email, if you no longer have the app

If you have uninstalled Citadel Fitness or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.

Send it from the email address on the account, so we can tell it is you asking. If you cannot, write from any address and we will ask a couple of questions to confirm the account is yours before deleting anything. A deletion request is exactly the sort of thing that should not be honoured on an unverified say-so.

We reply within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming the account is yours. In practice it is usually the same day.

What gets deleted

Everything below is removed permanently, whichever route you use.

DataWhat that covers
Your accountEmail address, password, and the sign-in record itself.
ProfileDisplay name, profile photo, units and all settings.
Training historyEvery workout, exercise, set, rep, weight, distance, duration and effort rating you have logged.
Goals and programsLift goals, program enrolments and your progress through them.
Water logsEverything recorded through hydration tracking.
GroupsYour membership of any group, and any group you created that has nobody else left in it.
Saved articlesNewsletter favourites and reading markers.
Form check videosBoth the submission and the video file itself, removed from storage.
Testing reportsAnything you sent from citadelfitness.app/testers, and the screenshots and recordings themselves, removed from storage.
Nutrition intakesBody weight, height, dietary restrictions and anything else you sent to a coach.
Messages to usFeedback, support requests and coaching notes tied to your account.
ReferralsYour referral code and any attribution recorded against it.
Subscription recordOur record of your plan. See the note on app stores below.

What we cannot delete for you

Two honest exceptions, and neither is data you gave us.

Your subscription with Google Play or Apple

If you are ever subscribed, the payment relationship is between you and the app store, not us. Deleting your account removes our record of it but does not cancel the subscription or issue a refund. Only the store can do that. Cancel it in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings first, or you may keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.

Crash diagnostics

If the app has crashed on your device, our crash reporter holds a technical record of that crash. It is not linked to your name or email address, nothing in it identifies you, and it expires on the provider’s own schedule.

Getting your data, and partial deletion

Getting a copy of your data first

On a Fortress plan, Account → Your data downloads your full workout history as a CSV, whenever you want it.

On the free plan, email us and we will send you a copy. The in-app export is a paid feature; your right to a copy of your own data is not, so ask and we will provide it whatever plan you are on. Same address as below, and the same 7-day reply.

Deleting only part of it

You do not have to delete everything. Individual workouts can be removed one at a time from the day they were logged, and that works on every plan.

Questions about any of this can go to tumi.citadel@gmail.com.
